Being jetlagged and all, we went with Öx and Adri for a first relaxing day at Santa Monica/Venice Beach before driving down to PB and Ninon's place in Costa Mesa for the overnight stay.

Just a lazy day, driving and walking around in the Hollywood area. Öx also gave us a guided tour of the nice Caltech campus.
March 11 - San Gabriel Mountains

The mountains just north of Pasadena gave us a day with a nice hike up to Mount Lowe, some nice scenery and a scenic car route along HWY2.
March 12-14 - Las Vegas & Hoover Dam

PB, Adri, Öx, Raz and I went for a weekend in Las Vegas. This place turned out to be just as weird as expected... I spent $1.25 on gambling, lots more on drinks ;-)
March 15 - Santa Barbara

We checked out the coast line north along HWY1 to Santa Barbara. Sadly, the chilly mist from the ocean ruined the experience a little.
March 17-21 - Mammoth Mountain

Finally, we went with Öx, PB & Ninon for 5 days in Mammoth Mountain. Skiing under blue skies and a hot sun with lots of that white stuff on the mountain. Brilliant!
