Started off the weekend with some live music at Rock Bottom Cafe Happy as can be! Mixed audience Oasis Beach Hotel lobby Certainly a nice hotel The Dubai Marina will be soooo cool when finished The hotel pool Hotel beach area The beach bar Ahh, the beach. But walking without flip-flops was not such a good idea... Quite a contrast! The Marina area being constructed behind the hotel More views of hotel with Marina behind View #1 from my hotel room... The beach front of the Marina area Cranes and concrete everywhere... Looks like a forest of cranes and skyscrapers... Crane battle time! In some months, this will all be shiny glossy. Hard to believe. Shopping at Deira City Centre Linda posing in the Mercato mall For being a shopping mall, the Mercato at least have some atmosphere, even though fake (yes, a bit Vegas) Weekend started with Singaporean food and some cooold beer.... Oasis beach hotel, with Oasis Towers behind (luxury apartments) Oasis Beach tower View #2 from my hotel room... View #3 from my hotel room... Deira City Centre, yet another mall...
